Getting into and around Cambridge is much easier than you might think. Why not travel by:

Bus

Park & Ride - Park in one of the 5 car parks spread across the main radial routes into Cambridge and catch the bus into the city centre. The Park & Ride return ticket is £3.50 and with this ticket up to three children travel for free.

By Bus – Getting into the heart of the city centre by bus is easy – many of the routes within the city centre operate on a 10-minute frequency and to those places a bit further afield 20- or 30-minute frequencies are common place.

The Cambridgeshire Guided Busway provides reliable, fast and frequent connections between Cambridge, St Ives, Huntingdon and beyond.

Train

Cambridge Railway Station is about 15-minute walk or a 5-minute cycle ride from the City Centre. In addition, there are numerous local buses and taxis available to provide convenient links between the railway station and the city centre

Car

Cambridge has four centrally located multi-storey car parks and three surface car parks that provide parking. The car parks are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and operate on a pay on foot basis.

Please note that Park Street Car Park (a 5th city centre car park) is due to reopen in November 2024
